Index/Kayaking In and Around Washington, DCMany of our horse trails went along rivers, bays and creeks. Bill and I now kayak and follow many of the waterways we rode. It is really interesting to see these venues from the water rather than the trail. The perspective is quite different as are the safety concerns in water rather than on the top of a horse. Both are wonderful outlets.Washington, DC and surrounding areas of Virginia and Maryland within 1 hour drive. We have started kayaking and have gone to these places. I will continue to add to this list as we continue to kayak.
