Birds and Bird Songs

Birds are so lovely and so are their songs. Spend some time in your yard, meadow or park with your children and learn to identify the sights and sounds of the many different birds. The following link is an excellent one and provides pictures, information about each type of bird, and bird calls. My husband and I used this site to be able to identify the many birds we encounter while horse-back-riding the trails at the Manassas Battlefield in Virginia.
