According to the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy there are a number of endangered horse breeds. Among them are the Exmoor aka the Celtic Pony, the American Cream Draft, the Caspian, the Cleveland Bay, the Florida Cracker Horse aka Chickasaw Pony, Seminole Pony, Prairie Pony, Florida Horse, Florida Cow Pony and Grass Gut, Marsh Tacky/A Gaited Breed, and the Suffolk Punch are all estimated to have populations fewer than 2,000 world wide. Also the Abaco Wild Horse, the Przewalski's Horse, and the Eriskay Pony, are all populations listed as endangered. For more rare horse breeds: Rare Horse Breeds.
