The Yanqi is a pony that is found in China in north Xinjiang. Its influences were the Mongolian, Don and Orlov Trotter. The Yanqi is used for riding and light draft work. Other than this, I was unable to find much information on the Yanqi other than the Mythology and Folklore below.
